1. About Clavico

Clavico (getclavico.com) is a commercial contract intelligence platform. By using Clavico, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Not Legal Advice

Clavico is a commercial intelligence tool, not a law firm. The analysis, findings, risk assessments, and suggested clause language provided by Clavico are for informational and commercial planning purposes only. They do not constitute legal advice, and no solicitor-client or attorney-client relationship is created by your use of this platform. You should consult a qualified lawyer before taking legal action based on any Clavico output.

3. The Service

Clavico allows you to upload contract documents for AI-powered commercial analysis. The service returns a structured report identifying financial risk, revenue exposure, and negotiation opportunities. Reports are delivered digitally.

Scans are processed using AI (Anthropic's Claude) and reflect the state of the uploaded document
Results are indicative, not exhaustive — no automated system identifies every possible risk
Jurisdiction detection is automated and may occasionally be incorrect
Processing typically takes 1–5 minutes depending on document length and complexity

4. Payments and Refunds

Scan credits are purchased in advance. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Credits do not expire
Once a scan report has been delivered, that credit is consumed and non-refundable
If a scan fails to complete due to a technical error on our side, the credit will be returned
If you have a payment dispute, contact [email protected] within 14 days

5. Your Responsibilities

You must be at least 18 years old to use Clavico
You must have the right to upload any contract document you submit — do not upload documents you are not authorised to share
You must not use Clavico to analyse documents for illegal purposes
You are responsible for any decisions made based on Clavico outputs
You must provide accurate information when using the service

6. Intellectual Property

Clavico and its underlying technology, prompts, and methodology are the intellectual property of the platform operator. You retain ownership of all contract documents you upload. By uploading a document, you grant Clavico a limited licence to process it solely for the purpose of generating your report.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of Clavico is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

Contract text is stored for up to 90 days then permanently deleted
Contract text is processed by Anthropic's AI to generate your report
We do not train AI models on your contract content
We do not sell your data

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clavico's liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the scan in question. Clavico is not liable for:

Any commercial loss arising from reliance on a scan report
Errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in AI-generated analysis
Decisions made by you or third parties based on Clavico outputs
Any legal outcomes arising from contracts analysed by Clavico

9. Service Availability

We aim to keep Clavico available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to perform maintenance, updates, or suspend the service with reasonable notice where possible.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last revised. Continued use of Clavico after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
